What I’m building toward

I’m excited about the work we haven’t been able to automate. At Minicor, we’re building deterministic computer use to automate desktop and browser tasks that previously couldn’t be automated.

We expose those workflows as APIs. AI handles the reasoning, while a predictable runtime executes the steps under human control. In medicine, insurance, and finance, there’s a lot riding on getting it right. I want Minicor to help people automate that work and stay in control.

But a company bio only tells part of the story.

I grew up in Lagos and moved to Canada at 18, planning to become a mechanical engineer. I love things that move. Software won me over, though, and I studied software engineering at the University of Ottawa.

My interest in physical systems stayed with me. It’s what draws me to deep tech and hard tech, especially where hardware and software meet.

At Ford, I was part of the camera team and later worked on drive modes. I worked on automatic parking in a driver’s chosen spot using cameras and sensors, and on calculating trailer safety boundaries. I also helped build software that let drivers adjust steering feel, suspension stiffness, and acceleration.

Those are the kinds of problems that pull me in: code, sensors, and physical systems working together.

Along the way, I built and launched Lucky Star, a lottery product under ESS Nigeria Limited. My personal investments include an 18-hectare oil palm plantation and a poultry farm producing eggs.

I like building things that work in the physical world. Agriculture is one way to do that; Lucky Star was another.

One of the things that drives me

Making Nigeria a better place to live is one of the things that drives me.

That shapes the kinds of businesses I’m interested in building. The farms are one way I’m putting that into practice today.

That connection to home is personal. It sits alongside my curiosity about technology and the satisfaction of making something useful.

Keeping the curiosity

My interests tend to cross boundaries. I’m into drones and defense technology. I love MMA and boxing. I can get drawn into a conversation about a software system, a farm, or a fight.

I want this site to have room for that range, too.

This notebook is where I’ll share thoughts, things I’m learning, and ideas I want to put into the world. Some will come from building Minicor. Some will come from the other parts of my life. They won’t all arrive fully formed.

For now, this is the starting point: build useful things, keep learning, and stay connected to what drives me.
